today would be the 3rd day of my paeds attachment and everything has been going quite alright so far. ive been a rollercoaster with the kids.

on my 1st day, i was so blur with everything sia. like i didnt know where to get the stuff like milk and i didnt know what to do with the kids. hahaha! even taking the vital signs was difficult because the babies were crying alot and were so agitated. there was one malay girl in my cubicle who cried ALOT! everytime she walked into the ward, she would wailed loudly. only the mother and father can keep her shut. haha. none of us can do anything. i made friends and we always go break together.

on my 2nd day, things were slightly better than the 1st day. i was less blur and would get things done. on the 1st day, 2 or 3 kids were discharged from my cubicle. so ytd 2 kids were admitted. one 13 yrs old girl and the other is 9 yr old boy. they arrived at the same time and i had to help with the admission. the staff nurse asked me to do the admission but i didnt know what to do. so i jus took the vital signs for both. my partner was MIA. she actually went to play with another baby at the play room. i was pissed lah. luckily the staff nurses and ENs were nice to tell me what to do. i try to play with the babies and kids as much time as possible because there wasnt anything to do. by the end of the shift, my legs were cramped!

today im having afternoon shift. and i don know how it will go. =)
