Monday.
It was my 1st day at ward 51 at NUH and honestly, i was really enthusiastic partly cos i was working with min for the 1st time and it was yet another new environment. i was making more new friends and meeting new people. i met min and sharifah at jrg east den took the bus to NUH. the sister n the SSN orientate us around the ward. they emphasize a lot of things which i know CGH wouldnt be so strict about. i got nervous. well, after orientation, we were assigned to our cubicles and the SN assigned wasnt so friendly. she was so arrogant n shes prob dumb as well. [ she didnt even talk or ask me to do anything]. i did the usuals and i was quite blur lah. but i asked around lah so i guess it was alright.

Tuesday
I searched for my name tag n i couldnt find it. i was so frustrated so i jus pasted micopore tape and wrote my name. urgh. Today i wasnt so blur n there was a 3 year 1 students tt were having the same shift as us. we passed report n went to the cubicle and SN tt was assigned. one of the year 1 students was assgined to the same cubicle as me. so she jus followed me around. my SN was so nice and friendly tt she orientate us on the patients and showed us what to do. she even showed me how to change the drainage bottle. Even the AN was nice to us. i helped out the year 1 students in the parameters. the juniors were pretty friendly and they were willing to learn. it was a gd thing so we jus showed them what we know. i did the usuals and help out as much as possible. there was one patient who kept asking for milo. the thing is i heard he has been drinking milo all day n he kept asking for more. hahaha! crazy milo patient. i wanted to serve meds but didnt have chance to do it. the SN said maybe tmr i can have a chance. hmmph. i found out tt my name tag is at home n mum found it. hehehe. i got a nagging frm her. i break fast with min sharifah and philzah(junior). it was so chaotic n we had fun. at 9, we signed out n left.

i hope tmr will be a better day than today. hopefully.
